Save the Date: January 19, 2024 Full Board Meeting

The first Full Board Meeting of 2024 will be held virtually on Friday, January 19. The meeting agenda includes approval of the 2024 Joint Protection Programs, election of officers and executive committee members, and staff annual reports. Tanya Crites to Retire

Senior Risk Management Representative Tanya Crites has announced she will be retiring at the end of the year after 15 years with WCIA. Her expertise in municipal exposures, risk management and dedication to member service has been outstanding. Tanya's work ethic and dedication to WCIA and its membership will be greatly missed. All of us at WCIA wish her a very happy retirement.

WCIA Welcomes New Claims Representative

Kayla Countryman is WCIA's new Claims Representative. Her first day on the job was November 6. Kayla comes to WCIA by way of Sound to Summit Brewery where she was a manager, but before that, she was a casualty claims adjuster at Allstate Insurance. Outside of work, Kayla enjoys hiking and backpacking and takes pleasure in a snowboarding trip every year in Bend, OR. Welcome aboard Kayla.
